PAX MUN 2025
Continuing with its commitment to provide the students with avenues to enhance their knowledge through diligent research and then voicing their stand on issues of topical relevance, DPS Greater Noida hosted the tenth edition of PAXMUN–‘Justicia en la Conferencia’ on August 22 & 23,2025.
Having successfully conducted fruitful and fervent debates since 2014, this year’s PAXMUN provided a platform for like-minded people to interact and present their ideologies on the pressing matters of the 21st-century geopolitical world. The two-day mega summit was modelled in exact replication of the live sessions of the UNO and the Indian Parliament.
PAXMUN had a panel of experienced Executive Board members, a Secretariat comprising of determined and hardworking students. Nearly 350 delegates from prestigious schools of Delhi and NCR participated in the conference as representatives of the 7 committees namely, the UNGA, the UNFCCC, the UNHRC, the UNW, the Lok Sabha, AIPPM and the International Press, vociferously deliberating upon agenda topics like ‘Racial Discrimination and Implementation of the Durban Declaration’, ‘Strategies towards Women Empowerment’ and ‘Election Reforms and Citizenship policies in India’ to name a few.
Addressing the delegates at the inaugural ceremony, the Principal Ms. Seema Roy urged the young ambassadors across schools to be the change makers, working towards bringing about a positive impact on the globe through negotiations, discussions, and resolutions on poignant issues of their time. The delegates came up with numerous solutions to the issues discoursed. The journalists from the International Press reported each detail with precision.
A valedictory ceremony was organized on August 23 in which outstanding delegates across committees were awarded with prizes viz, High Commendation, Best Delegate, and the Best School Delegation. The chief contributors of the thumbing success of PAXMUN-2025 were the Secretariat comprising spirited MUNERs from Classes IX-XII under the supervision of the Principal and the department of Social Science of the school and the Executive Board comprising seasoned MUN experts. The conference ended with the Event Coordinator, PAXMUN, Mrs. Preeti Bansal, formally thanking everyone involved in making this event a huge success, and thereby declaring the event closed, followed by the National Anthem.
