Nearly 400 football players from 22 Delhi Public Schools across the NCR assembled at DPS Greater Noida on October 16, 17, and 18, as the school proudly hosted the DPS Football Tournament Boys (Open) – 2025 under the aegis of the DPS Society. The event flagged off with an impressive inaugural ceremony on 16 October, graced by the Chief Guest, Honourable Additional District Magistrate, District Gautam Buddha Nagar, Mr. Manglesh Dubey, and the Guest of Honour, Mr. Balwan Singh, recipient of the Dronacharya Award. The presence of parent representatives and other distinguished guests added an air of enthusiasm to the occasion. During the three-day mega football tournament, the participating teams showcased their exceptional talent, teamwork, and sportsmanship, competing fiercely in a series of thrilling matches. The tournament featured intense knockout rounds and remarkable performances from all participating schools. The winners were felicitated in the valedictory ceremony that was attended by the Chief Guest Mr. Balwan Singh, the Guest of honour Dr. Dolly Chanana, Joint Director, DPS Society & Convenor of the event and Dr. Pradeep Kumar Yadav, Sports Director, Gautam Buddha University among other dignitaries. Sagar Chetri from DPS Vasant Kunj was declared the Best Player of the event, while the Winner’s Trophy was bagged by DPS Vasant Kunj., In his inspiring address, Mr. Balwan Singh, praised the young players for their discipline and dedication, reminding them that true champions are known for their hard work, teamwork, and honesty both on and off the field. The talented students of the host school added vibrancy to the celebration through a delightful cultural programme, leaving the audience enthralled, marking a grand conclusion to the threeday sporting extravaganza.

The eighth edition of Page Rajniti, The Mock Parliament was held on Tuesday, 14th October 2025, at Delhi Public School, Greater Noida. Organized by Team Page Rajniti through collective effort for the young parliamentarians of Classes VI to VIII, the conference served as an enlightening platform for budding intellectuals to understand the democratic processes that shape our nation. This year’s conference featured five committees namely the Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha, National Commission for Women, Historical Crisis Committee, and Indian Press, each designed to mirror the dynamics of real institutions with authentic proceedings addressing issues of contemporary significance. The sessions encouraged students to research deeply, debate thoughtfully, and approach national concerns with empathy and responsibility. The budding intellectuals engaged in reasoned debates, displaying both awareness and sensitivity. Through well-informed discussions and collaborative problemsolving, they aimed to provide practical and concrete solutions to real-world challenges. Their participation reflected not only a keen understanding of current affairs but also a growing appreciation for policymaking and civic responsibility. Embodying the spirit of its central theme #SamvaadSeSamadhan, Page Rajniti 2025 stood as a testament to the power of dialogue in shaping young minds and nurturing the values of informed citizenship.
