EARLY YEARS

""Play is the highest form of research." – Albert Einstein

DPS Greater Noida is one of the finest and ever growing institutions for holistic evolution in the arena of education and personality development of individuals. It is blessed with able leadership and thinkers of change into an affirmative society. DPS Greater Noida has sprawling lawns and a big field to give children a play area away from their congested societies.

The Early Years of the school has a 3-tier building with floors divided for different classes. The lowermost floor is the host for foundation classes, i.e., Nursery, and then followed by classes Lower Kindergarten (LKG) and to IInd in the subsequent floors. Early years holds a Hustle Bustle Room, designed to offer a wide range of hands-on toys, fixed with an audio-visual facility as well as a small library and exploratory play materials. We also have a Clay Modelling Room that provides young learners with opportunities to explore textures, strengthen fine motor skills, and express their creativity through hands-on sculpting activities. These spaces empower children to make independent decisions about what to play with, how to engage with it, and where to play. The Early Years section is equipped with two music rooms, one spacious dance room, and one dedicated instrumental music room, providing children with diverse opportunities to explore rhythm, movement, and musical expression. Corridors of the junior building hold beautiful sight of colourful work all around done by children during their vacation. The school has also introduced a Smart Classroom for children, offering them the opportunity to learn through interactive technology and digital tools, enhancing engagement and understanding. At the heart of the Junior Wing lies an open-air Amphitheatre, which serves as a vibrant space for performances and group activities. A thoughtfully designed ramp runs alongside it, allowing children to move comfortably and safely up to the top floor without strain

A variety of class activities such as fancy dress, recitation, spin-a-tale, awareness campaigns, show and tell, cooking without fire, and pot decoration, are integrated into the curriculum. These experiences provide ample opportunities for children to develop holistically, nurturing their creativity, confidence, communication skills, and social awareness

The Early Years environment is truly a second home—alive with the laughter of little ones, the soothing rhythm of music, the freshness of green potted plants, and walls bursting with vibrant colours. It is a place where childhood is celebrated, curiosity is nurtured, and every corner echoes with joy and learning.
